Really little introduction about myself
I was born in the southernmost Brazilian state (really close to Argentina and Uruguay), and after a whole life there I thought that would be a good idea to expand my horizons and try to develop myself by going to a different place and keep studying to stay relevant in the market. So with that in mind, I came to Milan (in Italy) to improve myself, both personally and professionally.
A little about my study and work
Having an education in both Advertising and Graphic Design taught me a lot of how Marketing works, because these two courses are directly involved in this subject.
As for the individual skills that this education has provided me, I would like to highlight the ability to solve problems that the Design degree has taught me, and the process of making a good communication that was learned in the Advertising degree. Having this combined set of knowledge gave me a unique understanding of the Marketing field.
And in my working experience, I developed some experience in Marketing itself and I believe that managing two stores, with two teams, gave me a great experience in dealing with people, with emphasis in leadership and team management.
What do I think I can add to the world
To be different is a matter of survival these days, it’s one of the most important things a brand should care, the first thing is to provide a great product or service and the last is to give the experience your client expects. And I deeply believe that anyone can and should deliver the expected of a great brand, and there’s exactly where I come in. I aim to know, to study, to live the brand and it’s public. To really understand what makes us different, and why we should be on top of any list of choices. For that I have a (not so) secret weapon, that is my main quality (in my humble opinion, of course).
My greatest quality is curiosity. But why, you may ask? I really think that this is an underrated trait because it’s of the utmost importance. Let me tell you why: because being curious is the single most important feature that humanity has, it’s what drive us forward, it’s what makes us improve ourselves and our world, it’s the reason we came to this point in technology, and, lastly, will be what makes our presence in the universe matter.
Ok, I think I made my point, but there’s a question in the air yet: and what does this beautiful statement does to prove that this quality will help me in this course? And after all that text it’s easy to me to point out. It’s my ability to adapt, to improvise, to solve things, the first step to figure out what to do is to truly understand what is happening, and for that the curiosity stands out. It makes me research everything about anything that comes in my way, makes me to create alternatives, to ask other people, to learn, to bring better solutions.
